Finally someone who answers questions to get help. Thank you.

Sound Splinter RL-P, Fi Q, Incriminator Audio Flatlyne

Just some options off the top of my head. No such thing as a "best" sub but their are plenty of exceptional options.

I personally would choose the Q as it sounds like you are looking more towards the SQ side of life. The BP Option essentially ups the amount of power you can run on that sub but if you are only going to be using about 1000-1300rms, then I wouldn't really worry about it. Straight from the Fi website:
"Bp Power - This option adds a machined aluminum compression plug to the pole which helps channel all of the air under the dustcap around the coil for better cooling. To aid with this increased airflow we also add 6 axial cooling channels in the top plate. Along with increased thermal capacity comes the addition of an extra spider and a changed spider pack. All of these features increase power handling from 200-500 Watts depending on the application."
"Q 12 -- We recommend using a sealed box in the neighborhood of .8-1.5 cubic feet of volume.
Ported box we recommend using 1.8-2.5 cubic feet @ 28-33Hz (I personally think that a 32hz tuning is optimal, and has the most output and is still the most musical daily driving). Use 12-16 square inches of vent area per cubic foot of volume."

A friend had a Fi Q 12"D2(2.5cf.net at 34Hz)on a AQ1200D and it sound great low n loud.

Now he has a Fi Q 18"D2(8cf.net at 30Hz) on the same AQ1200D and it murders the lows.

Both were in the back of a Ford Explorer.

Pretty good. Try to pick up a new one or at least one with woven tinsel leads.

A great 1000w sub for deep and low will always be a mag. Assuming you can find one in good shape.

Many of us have used one and I've heard seldom complaints.

we really need to get somebody on here to test a Sonance V.2 against all the above mentioned subwoofers.

We have them running in three SQ champs vehicles this season.

Many people associate RD with LOUD but not SQ. If anyone that is familiar with all the above mentioned subwoofers would like to test a sonance let me know.

We can either sell it to you cheap or ship it to you so you can test it and send it back.

" we really need to get somebody on here to test a Sonance V.2 against all the above mentioned subwoofers "

I have always wanted to do a drop in test with sonances vs my Fi Qs. I know they sound great but I'd like to be able to hear the exact difference. My system was designed with SQ as the primary goal which unfortuinetly is not that common..... Sealed box 1/2 cu.ft. per sub.

Tell you what, send me 2 sonance 10s (need dual 4 or dual 1) I'll do the test, write the review and if they beat the Qs I'll buy em

Vehicle would be a blazer suv. Amp is an american bass 3000w with a 1500 amp batt and 200 amp alternator behind it so plenty of power.
