I know of a 1000 bumpin' songs threads and stuff, but I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction for some nice sq songs (any music really, not really looking for like heavy metal but maybe some smoother, more relaxed rock that has some nice kick, rap is cool too, whatever works)

if you know of an ongoing thread on another site, just post up the link, but if no one knows of a good sq thread, post up some good jams

x2 on Steely Dan. A lot of Tom Petty's songs sound awesome and have nice bass and Bob Marley's stuff is recorded real nice too.

I upped my test track cd for you. This is what I use to test systems. Four different styles that cover every frequency and texture.

1- John Petrucci - Jaws Of Life
2- Steely Dan - Gaslighting Abbie
3- Lonestar - County Fair
4- Vinnie Colaiuta, Robben Ford, Jimmy Haslip - Jing Chi
