So I am listening to my music pretty loudly and suddenly I have no sound coming from my subwoofer. I get out and check, my power light for the amp is on, so I check the sub.

I have blown subs before and if i push the cone in it doesnt make a crunching noise or show any physical damage. There is absolutely no sound coming from the sub at all, not even muffled noise. I checked the speaker wires and they are all connected as they were before. All other wires have been checked and are the same as normal.

Is the amp not working, even though the power light is on but not the protect light? Any input would be helpful, thanks

probe the speaker terminals on the amp while playing a sine wave in the playing range to see if there is any voltage, if not then it is probably broken.
