Experience with Kicker Comp CVR Subs

Im thinking about getting the 10" version Dual 4 ohm version and putting in a ported box with 1.5 cu ft and giving it 300 rms.

Whose had experience with this sub and what do you think about my setup.

Good deal go for it! But I would recommend the 2 ohm DVC version. I had 2 of those and they sounded GREAT but I like my new cerwin vega v-maxs better.

2ohm and 4ohm would sound the exact same. if you have the right amp to match the ohms.

If he uses a mono, go 2+2 ohm. If he plans to use a 2 channel, go 4+4 ohm

Well im only gonna run one sub so the dvc 4 ohm sub wired in series will give me a 2 ohm load.

i have 2 comp vr 10s (4ohm dvc) in two seperate slot ported boxes with 250watts running to each box. this setup is very loud due to the type of box you can get, becouse if the box is just right it will add much more dBs. i think the 4ohm models are easier to match up to 2channel amps. any way 140dBs is great for 2 10s
