ok guys ive been learning alot latly and i just found out that 2 12s would be louder than 1 12 cuz of cone area... i was planning on gettin a single AQ HDC3 but ive been thinking what about 2 12" alpine type R??? would this be a nicer setup than the audioque?
I do think two alpine 12's would be as loud as the hdc and they will have better lows and sound quality. Just make sure you have 4 cubic feet net to give the pair.
2 12' type-rs 4.5 cubes tuned to 32-35Hz (w/out driver displacement) a good 1200rms would do them nice.
i would go with the type-rs over the single HDC, because of the same reasons sean said: better lows and SQ, and could be louder than the HDC if done properly
