AQ HDC3 vs AB XFL

i have seen a few XFLs in my area. the ones i have seen put out very high numbers,
but i have also seen some HDC3 also doing the same.


which one would u go with and y?

that would be because they are the same subwoofer.. both are chineese woofers made by the same company... just a different name on the dustcap

IIRC, they are the same motor...different soft parts.

You can order the AQ w/ aluminum coils though.

actually they are pretty much the same soft parts... same stitched surround and cone... you can get aluminum flat wound or round wire copper coils on either one...

so the HDC3 has a bigger magnet... does that make any difference? i also thought the xfl had a larger xmas. but i am having trouble finding all of the info on both subs

Isn't the Americanbass HD series that looks like the AudioQue HDC3 series.



This is straight from AudioQue/DJ on Aluminum/Copper coils for the HDC3 series

"The aluminum coil versions are hand built in our facility with American coils and spiders. They also use a different suspension design. The sub is optimized for higher power, competition and extreme daily use."

i personally would not own an HDC3 some of my team mates had them and we had trouble with the tripple joint breaking.... and they have a lot of mechanical noise... not a very pretty sub to listen to..

they aren't too bad for the price. And he will be using them for burps. and to make a 160 db wall

the aq HD3s were not made over seas but the the HDC3 are.
who knows! i am leaning toward the XFL because i can get them at a really good deal
