Audioque hdc3 12" d2 and hifonics bxi 1210d

Bronze Member Username: Wackzirth88K-town, Il U.S. Post Number: 14 Registered: May-09 | i have a hifonics brutus 1210d. it specifies that it pushes 1200 rms at 1 ohm and 900 rms at 2. but ive heard its overrated and only puts out about 80% of what it says it will. 80% of 1200 is 960 watts rms at 1 ohm. im thinkin bout gettin a audioque hdc3 which is 1000 watts rms. im wonderin will the hifonics push the sub good at 1 ohm? i want my sh!t to pound |

Gold Member Username: DeadrabitMarionville, MO Post Number: 1685 Registered: Jun-07 | both of ur cvrs will prolly be louder than a single HDC with the same amount of power. they have a lot more cone area, the HDC3 is a beast of a sub though! if ur wanting louder u can do a few things, more power more cone area better box or all of the above. |
