Type x subs are not on the market yet. Excellent component set though. Better stuff exists though

The eclipse titanium series is a better sub than the type-r,

crutchfield has Type-X's

a better sub than either...
type-r's cant even compete...so all these are pointed towards the type-x - which ive seen mechanical specs for and ive demo'd it in indiana

is anyone interested in purchasing a brand new Kicker 15" L5 sqaure sub, 750rms 1500watts peak, custom 3.7 cubic ft box. Sub has had 2 hours on it tops, played on low volumes in my Dak, hooked up to a weak amp. Post an offer

Bacon's list pretty much covered it. Alpine is a good brand, but I'd stick with their head units, I've never heard Alpine speakers or subs that would make the top of my wish list, including Type R's and X's, with the exception of the F#1 Status components, which I can't comment on b/c I haven't heard them yet. Tried the F#1 head unit, though, AWESOME, but very expensive.
