Hi guys, I have an Alpine Type R 1221 subwoofer which is powered by the two rear channels of MTX Thunder 6304 amplifier. I have a 1 cu ft sealed qlogic box. I am not getting the type of bass I desire. My friend has suggested that I build my own better box but I am not sure that would solve it all. Any wiring/box suggestions would be appreciated.

for more spl go ported, but you will loose a little quality, if the amp is bridged and the coils of the sub are in series then your maxed out, more subs and amps required!
(If u run 1 channel per coil switch it to the above suggestion, if the sub is a dual 2 ohm voice coil sub)
