Hope you guys have some insight.. Ive used this site alot in the past for audio questions and searching connection problems.
My ignition switch in my 65 Cadi is going bad and instead of replacing it with a NOS ignition switch i want to do a push button start and switches for ACC and IGN power. Instead of buying heavy duty switches to handle the amperage i want to use relays so i can pick whatever smooth switch i want instead of the gaudy ones available for high amperage. Any ideas on what amperage relays i should be looking at to keep everything safe under the dash? (no fires lol) the wires going into the stock ign switch are pretty heavy duty and im going to be adding more electronics(interior leds, audio) but nothing major as far as amperage. Any help would be great.
