What series of RE speakers? In my experience with them, the midbass was rather muddy and the tweeters a bit harsh. I personally did not like them. Have you had a chance to hear them yet? I might have a look at different stuff
Yes RE makes very nice subs. The XXX subwoofer is a beast. Unfortunately their components, including the XXX component set, are not of the same quality.
