this isnt getting me far so if any one can tell me this, the Rec. Dims. for a Sealed Box are 0.75 - 0.85 cu.ft and the Rec. Dims. for a Ported Box are 0.85 - 0.95 cu.ft. this is for 2 10" speakers so what should the Dims. for this box be per chamber i dont know if they should be different from the ported Dims. but i dont want to screw up

ported box.jpg

what i would rather know is where could i get on of these boxes under $140.00

If you looking for a ported box for 1 10 this is the one that I would get. Cost around 100.00 bucks+40-50 shipping unless you have a local place that carries it.

Well remember sometimes you gotta pay a little more for good quality. Personally I wouldnt have a problem ever running the proboxes. They are one of the best made prefab boxes out there.

I would attempt ot mkae your own i made mien a little complicated wiht sme crazy angles and stuff but it cmae out really nice i think... http://www.geocities.com/w_s_productions/subbox.html
its quite simple to make if your just making a square box. All you should need is a jig saw and table saw, and screws. You should make it of 3/4 in paricle board if you do. Carpet is cheap like $5 a sq yard at an auto store some spray glue and staple gun and your all set. I'd make your box if you have time. Its a nice experience and thne you cna really be proud of your work when your done. I made my box for less than $60. I just gotta wait for hte port tubes to come in the mail and i'm all set.
