Ok so i broke one of the terminal leads going from the cone to the push terminal on my kicker cvr 12. My question is should i attempt to solder it,(by giving it to someone that can solder) or does it need to be sent out and re-coned? The wire broke at the end closest to the push terminal if that helps. Thanks in advance

the tinsel lead cannot be too short or too long. either is a sure fire failure.

I did Jerry-rig an L5 before..Crimped a butt-splice connector and it worked.... I eventually gave em away.

Mine broke cuz i was playing it loud when it was pretty cold (Michigan winter) and the tinsel must have been too stiff and snapped. With this one (I have two) i just want to fix it and get rid of it so it can be someone else's problem
