Solid looking HU. Never messed with it. I hope Alpine DVD interface is better than their higher end CD HU's.. Review when you get it going?

yes sir ill give a full review as it specially for sound quality wise, it will be pairing up with my H701 processor :-)

not a fan of flip out and the fact that it is 2V pre outs

lol i know i know most flip outs are 2v now a days, besides from my testin the AB500.1 likes 2 volts pre outs neways lol, and the H701 will step everything up for my SQ setup :-)

Yeah im not the biggest fan of flip outs but still, looks like a very nice HU.

Pics and a full review when all is said and done.

lol i hate double dins...but love the screens specially for the car show aspects :-)

I'll say something on behalf of M.S. and myself:

2v preouts are not a bad thing at all. Some higher end amps love low preouts, like the AB500 and an IA20.1

Overall, pretty nice unit for the price you got it at.

yeah dude ive had it for 2 years man and i love the thing it held up nicely with my memphis 1000.1 and memphis 100.4 pushin the d615 diamonds

Haha I been offline a few days and everybody misses me :-)


That is a really nice HU. Although myself I am not a big fan of flip outs, I would use a double din if i could.

And as nick and d have said 2 volt RCAs are NOT a problem. All a higher RCA voltage does is reduce noise, and from 2v on up you won't notice a difference.
