Brand New Subs Won't Work??

Today, I purchased two,2ohm, MTX Thunder subs. I have a Clarion APA2001(400watt) mono amp.
My car has already been wired and all i am doing is replacing my blown Kaption subs.

After installing the subs incorrectly the first time i then looked up a diagram of ways to wired a two 2-ohm sub with a mono amp.

Once they were installed correctly, my subwoofers still wont work.
Just wondering what the possible problem might be?

Thanks

If they're DVC 2ohm then you can have it wired to .5ohm, 2ohm or 8ohm. Plus the amp is a 200w rms at 4ohms, 230w at 2ohms. Don't judge by max ratings. They're garbage.

Are you sure the subs are wired correctly and not for .5ohm? Any protect lights on? Just why did the other subs blow?

They other subs blew because they took 4 years of abuse and I couldn't expect them to last any longer.
