My amp is a 600w max pioneer or kenwood. I know, how do i not know. I want a sub that will hit the deep @$$ bass lines in my music. I would like to hit that bass that makes you feel like you are going to $#!^ yourself. I dont have the power nor cash for that. My plan is to spend $150 for a sub to get close to what I want. My car is a 2000 civic hatch. I think i can stuff a 15" in it. some guidance would be appreciated.

The audioque SDC2.5 is $159 and that would get loud if put in the proper box.

Otherwise you can save more money

Give us the model number for your amp, without knowing the specs on your amp picking out a proper sub would be a pure guessing game. Also, do you have an enclosure already? Sealed or ported? And I don't think you will have enough power for an sdc.

Nvm i missed the max following the 600.

If he could find a 15" sd he should be good with that power. Othwise give us a little more to go on like Donnie said.

Its a kenwood 760w, i looked at it the other day. I just bought a house and am in the process of rehabing it. It takes all of my time, so i am sorry if i cant respond sooner. i have a tape measure with me at all times, but cant seem to measure the box in my car for you. I think it is 20x20x6.
Audiobahn 12", got it 4 or 5 years ago for $75. might be a 400 or 600 watt.

You could go with a 15" RE audio SR

or

15" Incriminator audio 187 series

or

15" Memphis audio power reference series

If you put anyone of them in the ideal box they have the potential to do what you want. You might want to take and have someone build the box for you.

How much money do i need to spend to hit 15 or 20hz. I know the human ear cant hear it. Some of the music i listen to seem to have those low lines in it. I found an MBQuart for $130 that has a low frequency response. I dont have much knowledge on brands. I have an audiobahn right now, and want to hit lower lows and still be louder for about $150. Sorry i dont know what a RE/ SE or whatever else is.

Box build is going to play a large part on how you want the sub to sound. In the ideal box the SE can do what you want

that is the optimal box size and tuning for the sub. You can run the sub in a smaller or larger box and tune either up or down but it will affect the subs performance.

I think that it will do what you are looking for it to do.
