I am doing some research right now, both here and with Google on the Viper 5901 Alarm/Remote Start system. It seems to use some pretty sophisticated technology and I am hoping it makes the install less arduous than when I installed the 791XV.
This is direct from Viper: "XpressPort - Dock the Innovations Award-winning CANMAX400DEI databus interface into the Responder LC3 CPU, for a direct digital connection to virtually every new vehicle and databus architecture on the planet."
Am I correct in understanding this means that for window control, trunk release or door lock control, the alarm would interface through the databus connection?
