Monday, March 02, 2009 - 04:36 GMT I'm looking for an 18" sub that puts out good output but I still wants great SQ. So i need like 5 options of 18" subwoofers that are SQL drivers. Reason for 18" they are just sweet to watch pounding!

Monday, March 02, 2009 - 04:48 GMT Mike, I'm gonna be straight with you bud, no one is going to recommend a sub that hasn't been recommended in your other 4 threads. There is no magical sub that we all forgot about. My vote is for the Fi Q based all on all your other threads.

Monday, March 02, 2009 - 22:24 GMT 2 15" Q's would require more of a budget for electrical upgrades. stick to either 1 18 or 1 15. 1 18" Fi Q + AQ 1200D = what your lookin for.

Tuesday, March 03, 2009 - 22:23 GMT dude stick to just one thread. for 1 sub: dual 1 ohm = .5ohm or 2ohm final dual 2 ohm = 1ohm or 4ohm final for 2 subs: dual 1 ohm = 1ohm final Dual 2 ohm = 2ohm final It depends on your amp. If you dont have one then i strongly recommend either 1 Dual2ohm sub or 2 dual1ohm subs. the point im making is make subs end up in 1ohm because there are more options in amps with the final load is 1ohm.

Wednesday, March 04, 2009 - 16:06 GMT How much power are you wanting to use? At RD Audio we can offer you several solutions depending on the amount of RMS power you want to use and the amount of space you have for one or two of them. In a 18" we have four series of subwoofers that all can be built to work extemely well for a ground pounder. First is the Sonance , It handles 1000-1300 rms, It goes in four cubes sealed and 5 cubes ported. It is very musical. You can tune it below 30hz if you want. In a 5 cube box tuned to 33hz you will have an f3 around 26hz. It also has a ton of output. We have guys running sonance in SQ vehicle and spl vehicle over 160db Alpha 1500-2000 rms Sounds great and solid output you can get vids on here from mark b. The do best in a 5.25-6 cubes ported Alpha Max - Newest RD subwoofer 2500-3000 rms. 5.5-6.25 ported per I have two 15" in my personal vehicle and am tuned at 31hz. With two 15" i am well over 150db and it plays so and hard to were its tough to read street signs. they have a ton of excursion and get loud, it is a cross breed between a Alpha and a HW. Heavyweight - 3500-4500rms 6-6.5 cubes very good if you have the power to drive it. We can benifit you by custom building any of these for you with various coils and soft parts.
