Hey i'm interested in 2 DC 15" lvl 4's with D1 lvl 5 coils.

I know nothing about them.

What size of ported box am I lookign at for 2 of these?

Are they an SQ, SPL, or an SQL driver?

What should I tune the box too?

What should I power the pair with?

I can get a pair shipped for $500

I haven't heard them in the car or in a daily box. I did however watch Scott do a 151.1 (I think) with them in his burp box in his CRX. Everything I've read from Scott about them seems to be nothing but praise for the subs. Scott will see this thread and post in it either tonight or tomorrow.

Awesome man! Sounds like decent subs. Think $500 shipped is good price for 2 15" ?

Never used them but I've heard nothing but good things about them and the company in general.

solid sub and 500 is a good price. as far as specs 1000rms is a understatement i have put 3500 for 60 sec no problem. they are sql drivers with good performance across the range.check out the website dcsoundlab.com

What size of box and what was it tuned to Scott?

I'm looking at putting 2 15" DC lvl 4's in my cutlass. I think I can get about a 8cube box in there and have room for amp and batterie and stuff.

Is 8 cubes good?

I have a single 15" DC LVL4 running on 1500wrms in a 3.4cu^ft box tuned to 35hz. I am very impressed with it. I have been using it daily on 1500wrms for over a year now and have had no problems with it, great build quality.
