They were not the same sub as the SSD. Never really heard much about the X but if I remember correctly it had a RMS rating of like 300 or 400. Fi got rid of them cause there really wasn't a market for it, at least that's what I read.
I can't tell you whether to do the trade or not but don't believe the SSD and the X were the same sub.

The X is like comparing the cvr to the cvx imo. 300rms, nice sub just not really a big demand for it a year or so ago. Wow, that's a big drop in cone area. Hope it works out good for you.
troy i was thinkin that too. i need some of my trunk though n i heard if your gonna get 8's those r the ones to get.I was thinkin of tryin out 8's for a while but i just couldnt see 8's gettin low so i didnt do it.now i have a excuse so if i dont like em i wont feel as stupid when i sell em
