i'm looking at getting 2 15" subs, i wanna stay below 350 if i can but will go a little over...whats the best subs in terms of spl for the price, ill choose the amp after the subs
the hdc3 is more comparable to the btl. really for spl for the money u can't loose with the hdc3. r u sure ur looking for spl or sql? do u want to compete
maybe later but for now I just want a really loud car...and the most I'll spend on an amp is 550, any suggestions there? I'm looking at a massive p3000.1 as my first choice

The HDC3 is a sweet sub that would be pretty good for what it sounds like you want. The BL sounds like it would be a pretty good choice as well. The RL-P and the Icon both can be scratched off the list for SPL. Both are solid subs, just not for SPL. I can't comment on the IA or the Mach5.
Have you factored in electrical upgrade costs I hope?
Don't get the massive amp, they are very problematic... ask kevin about that, he used to sell them and dropped them cause he had so many failures and returns.
ya ive already picked out new batteries and am looking at a new alt...what are your suggestions on an amp then if not a massive that puts out similar power that is in the same price range?
Touch to say. The DC is no slouch. Best person to talk to is Scott S on here since he has play time with both subs if I'm not mistaken. He's know a thing or two about getting loud as well haha.
Ya I think I'm gonna go with the audioque instead now, but I think I'm gonna go with 1 18 instead cuz it will save me about 500 bucks, so should I get the audioque AQ 1200D or AQ2200D? Cuz I know the specs on the sub are 1000/2000 so idk about the subs real power handling
