I just had a 5901 installed in an 04 Escalade. with in 1 hour of picking it up I got a service engine soon light - pulled the code and it was a solenoid in the transmission. I pushed onstar and they asked me if I had a remote started installed..... Well I erased the codes and shut the remote started portion of the alarm off at the hidden switch. No more error codes but no remote starter feature either....
I took the vehicle back to the installer he said everything was installed according to specs. I dropped the lower dash and it looks like they did a great job. I contacted DEI asking if there is an update or something I can tell the installer and they have not replied. Has anyone dealt with this before? Thanks Eddy
