Thicker wire reduces resistance/heat in the cable but does squat for SQ. Think of it like a highway. The more lanes (thicker wire) the more volume of traffic (power) the wire can safely support. Even a single lane can traffic the signal accurately. Otherwise think how thick the wires in even the best headphones would be if thick = SQ. ![]() |
