i was told kicker sucks, so what about this?

I personally would not get a hifoncs sub. Tell us your budget total, what you need(amp sub etc.), do you want sound quality or just a loud system. Also about how much space you have to work with.

i was trying to keep it under a grand for stereo subs box amp and wiring. and its going in the trunk of a honda accord. i want good sound quality but also to hit hard.

Mark that list seems more SQ orientated. The Hifonics sub, from the description, seems more spl orientated. Maybe suggest some spl/daily subs?

BTL, HDC3, MT, Omega, 9500 series..
