ok im getting ready to compete in my first comp an i have a couple of question. first how do i burp my system do i turn the sub level an bass all the way up? an do i need to use a second battery with 1600 watts will it help
If you can add a 2nd battery good. Use a DMM to see if your voltage is dropping to know if your charging system is good enough.
I would experiment with your car before the comp (not immediately before because then you might drain your batt). Don't just crank everything up and blow your sub. Turn it as loud as you've set it to go already, then as you're competing turn it up a notch and see if you gain anything between burps. If you do, turn it up one more notch for the next burp. Once you stop gaining stop turning it up higher.
