Is it true that connecting the RCA cables to the amp before connecting the ground and power cables can damage the amp, and if so what kind of damage can it cause?
It will shock you then Blow up the amp like there's no tomorrow and the next thing you know it you will have an heart attack when your car burst into flames.
It is said that you should not do that b/c if you accidentally touch the RCA connector the the metal chassis of the amp in rare cases the amp could try to ground trhough the RCA and burn out stuff.
