Alright, I'm replacing both of my subs.

I'm running off a Jensen 300 Watt amp, and I'm looking for two tens.

I'm still new to this, so I need to know how the following stack up to each other/what you would suggest.

mtx thunder 5500 15510-05
alpine swe-1043
mtxthunder 4500 t4510-04
orion co104s
rockford fosgate p1s410
polk/momo mm2104
kicker comp 07c104

I'm replacing 2 10" dual voice coil 4 ohm xtreme subs, I need something to match that.

I'd suggest keeping what you have..

Create a budget and buy a new amp and sub/s..

You will be much more happy. I don't see the point in upgrading subs for that amp.. I don't think you'd be too happy in the outcome

i think he blew the one sub and the other one is on its way out. plus he doesnt have much room.

Are you having new boxes built or no?
What is your budget?

Yessir, one sub is gone the other is getting some weird distortion in it that I thought was the ground, but I just checked EVERYTHING yesterday and all the wiring is fine.

Total budget I'm willing to spend for this... 200ish.

max 250.

I know that's not much, but I was looking on crutchfield and it looked like there were some decent buy one/get one's there that would help me out a little, I just need to know with what I've got what I could do.

If I don't have to, I don't want to have to pay for the new boxes esp. because what I have were built to fit behind my seat.

You could scoop 2 12" RD classics for 250 shipped and go w/o a little bump until you have enough monies for an amp... Steves got the sale going on

I want more than just one 12 though, I've got some saved up it's jsut me not wanting to invest a TON into this truck because I want to eventually sell it and get something with some more space and upgrade.

But, on the plus I've decided to sell what I've got now (that works)and start fresh, so essentially the two amps are up for grabs.

Trust me that one 12 will be loud enough on that amp.

That one 12 in a proper ported enclosure on that power will be louder than your current two 10 setup

I was thinking about putting two 12's in one box mounted along the back wall of my truck instead of two boxes, so I could get more cu/ft for the area and have more back there.

Decided to not make a rookie move and rush buying the subs.

I'm going to get a topper for my truck, blowthrough the back and put some 12's possibly a 15 back there.
