I may seem a bit naive but please bear with me. I'm new to the car audio world and any help whatsoever is greatly appreciated.

I have a 3600W monoblock amp and two cerwin vega 12" HED subwoofers rated at 300W rms each. They are DVC rated at 4ohm per voice coil.

My question is whats the best way to connect the subs?
Specs that came with the amp manual say they deliver:
400w rms x 1channel at 4ohm
800w rms x 1channel at 2ohm
1500w rms x 1channel at 1ohm

Thanks in advance for any help.

i found that those subs are rated @ 200 RMS. see your wiring options below

http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=2&I=42

what is your amp make and model? that would help...

if your amp is of quality and does rated power than i would wire the subs to 4 ohms

if it is an overrated amp - i would wire to 1 ohm and set the gains conservitively with a dmm
