I've got 2 Pioneer TS-W307D4 (http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/products/25/130/201/TS-W307D4/specs.html) 12" subs with dual voice coils and 400w RMS, and a Profile AP1200 (http://www.crutchfield.com/p_489AP1200/Profile-AP1200.html?search=profile%2bap12 00&tp=115&tab=features_and_specs) amp that puts out 200w x 2 at 4 ohms, 300w x 2 at 2 ohms, and 600w x 1 bridged at 4 ohms. The sub is 2 ohm stable. The subs are 4 ohms. I included a link to the specs page for the sub and the amp because I am not very familiar with this kind of thing and might be leaving out important information. What would be the best way to hook everything up? Any input would be very appreciated.

Thanks.

Is it possible to wire the subs to create an overall 2 ohm load?

It would be no if you wanted to have both subs hooked up together to an overall 2 ohm load. That is not possible.

If you want each sub hooked up separately to a 2 ohm load then wire it like the picture above and use one channel per sub.

Just hook them up the way it's pictured in my first post and bridge the amp.
