I have 2 12" DVC 4 Ohm Type R's with a Hifonics 1000w rms amp (I just thought you should know all that.) I was wondering if it would make a difference and if so what kind, if I were to mount my subs with the magnets out. I have them in a custom box with an L-port and that pillow filling stuff on the inside. Thanks in advance

the ONLY way this will help is if the box you have is too small it just frees up some airspace otherwise it wont hurt or help anything

Can not do any good at all if you have a properly design box. The only thing it can do is possible create audible motor noise.

on a related note:
Percentage of Sag = 24,849 / ( Xmax * Fs²)
If Sag% < 5%, the driver may be mounted down (or up) firing. (Xmax in milimeters.)
