I bought the lil Stinger Digital Voltage Gauge and want to know the best place to hook up the wires..
Option 1- directly to rear battery. W/ acc wire going to a remote
or
Option 2- Sub amp hot, ground, and remote. Since that is what I am most concerned about(voltage drop).

The gauge is being mounted on amp rack until I have more time to run wires to dash panel. I will wait till i need to pull all the carpet, ect. for DD comp set install.

Thanks

The amount of voltage loss in the wires from rear battery to amp is or SHOULD be so small it's not measurable by that meter. So to answers your question is doesn't matter. I'd go with battery terminals for ease.

it's all one circuit anyway really so connect anywhere that's most convenient. you'll see drops across the alternator from any point in the circuit.
