Can anyone recommend a good ported enclosure to build for a Kicker CVX 15" dual 2ohm sub, including port dimensions and placement?
It's being powered by a Crossfire VR1000d.
I already bought the sub like 18mos. ago so please don't try to convince me into buying a different sub. Believe me, if I knew then what I know now, I would've purchased a different sub. Probably an AQ HDC315. But I was able to get it for like $130, new, from an authorized dealer. Anyway, thanks for the help.

It's going in a Cadillac trunk, so space isn't really an issue.

BCAE1.com has all the calculators you'd need for a good basic vented enclosure for that sub by plugging in the dimensions and TS parameters of that sub :-)

Its in Pomona, CA. You can pick it up or you can pick it up from my work when I get it. You need to make the box designs and the guy will build it. Price is around $80. Plus or minus $5 or so. Gus, a box for 2 15's will cost you more, depending on the size, anywhere from 2-300 estimate. With that price range, I would let chad geary do it. But prices might be lower, so just let me get a design and it won't hurt to ask.

Berny, is YOUR work also in Pomona? Most likely I would pick it up, as Pomona is like 35min. or so from me. Also, how much more would it be to have him double baffle the box? Thanks.
