I agree, with that amp you should be fine. However, if you actually run a proper amp to that sub, that puts out at least 2000w rms, then depending on the output of your alt. you'll probably need a modest upgrade.

But again, right now, as is, you should be fine...especially if your not cranking the hell out of it all the time.

If your only going to run 1500 rms why would you get the fully loaded BTL, a stock BTL will take 2000 rms no problem

if you only have 1500 rms i would move down to the BL. that will get plenty loud and sound pretty good on 1500watts

btw, how would i set it up to run 4400 to a dual 1 ohm fi btl 18?

EDIT: also, ive got the cash stashed away for the interior and undercar kit for LED glow, the undercar is the 3 million color bs.
So with the LED exterior and interior kits, the AQ 2200, what batterie and alt should i get. I have a stock 2008 Nissan frontier crew cab. The alt is 110 amp alt i think.

this is the point where i become usless im terrible at matching ohmloads and hooking subs to amps deff ask someone else you may need to get the d2 version this amp may not work at all all i know is this an amp a lot of people use and has a good price keep in mind if you go over about 1200rms you should prob upgrade your alt if you want things to run smoothly deff if you run 2k+

are you planning on ever upgrading to a bigger amp? if so should save up and get the biggest they make for your ride if not id say a alt that produces 150amps at IDLE should be fine with 2 deep cell bats optima is a good starter brand for bats i use 2 of the yellow tops but there are much better bats out there they are just pricy
