I installed my new system
Kicker 08' ZX1000.1 and two 12" P3S Rockford Fosgates

It was working fine for about 4-5 days. Then all of the sudden the speakers stopped.

The amp still shows its on and the protection light is not on. I am using my factory radio with a Hi/Lo convertor. I grabbed a power probe and it shows I do not have any power coming out of the RCA's at the amplifier.

But I do have power from my factory speaker wire going into the Hi/Lo converter (the factory radio signal seems the barley light up my power probe). When I bypass the Hi/Lo converter (holding the speaker wire to the RCA) I get power out the end of the RCA. But when I plug the RCA's in I get ni output fromt he amplifier.

It almost sounds like my factory left rear radio signal is too weak to make it all the way to the amplifier.

Anyone got any input on this?
Thank You in advance

ok then... If you have a hi/low converter and its not passing signal, then iwould say its your converter.
And yes, speaker wire voltage should be low from the HU.
