^^^ lol come on now lets not confuse people here.

The kicker sqaure subs have terriable SQ. All around not good subs, all they are good for is SPL.... and then not too durable at that.

Get away from kicker, there is so much better stuff out there

I could never understand the appeal or market for a square sub. Or for any sub that isn't circular. It just seems unnatural in design and longevity of the surround.

^^^ X2

It is a flawed design as proven be all the solos where the cone gets dented near one corner.

Ok what would be a good sub. For .6. Air space. And 5" mounting depth. I love deep. Deep bass and no distorting. I have always like jl. Or ma. I had some rockford. They suck. Any opions?

JL is good stuff. Rockford used to be good, not as much anymore.

So does Pyle and Pyramid.

If FI or RD subs were sold at Walmart they would sell as many also.

Sorry. Walmart is partial to Explodes. I guess they want to step it up a notch?

I can't find any ported boxes for my truck I would realy love to have a ported just because of the deeper bass. E00w dodge extra cab truck? Anyone have any info thanks

Thats because with so little airspace and mounting depth you don't have enough space for a ported box.

i've had an 18" AA HAVOC on 1200 rms in 6 cubes tuned to 34 hz i've had 1 15" RE SX on 1000 rms in 4 cubes ported and they still couldn't get louder than my 2 12" L7s with 1100 watts rms in 2 cubes ported box tuned to 38hz so you guys can clown all you want i personally love the L7 and would run it again without hesitation they are just too pricey new and i dont really like buying used.

^x2 M.S, they have crap sq & I've owned a 12" L7.

Also, IMO, as far as "bang-for-the-buck", for SPL they aren't actually that great.
