If you were planning on eventually running 10K+ worth of power, Would you give up your A/C for a second alt.?

I really like the A/C(i live in the South).

But so far as I know that is the only spot (that brackets are made)to mount a second Alt.
opinions?

well that amps are pretty much set. Already have 1 RD5750.1. Will eventually strap two of 'em.

make a seperate compartment all together and just get like 3 of 4 300amp alts... i remember seeing some picture where a guy had like 7 of them strapped together outside of his truck..

That would require ALOT of research on my part. I will check into it but that wouldn't really help as a daily driver.

Only way I can really justify givin' up A/C is that my windows stay down to let the 18's breathe.. Trust me when I say it helps... keep in mind that the 3-18's will be in a B-Pillar wall.

well, i guess what you could do is build two ports, one above your head and the other above the passenger and use the ports as an air conditioner...

I never run my AC anyway lol, so I'd do it. The fan works just fine for me.

I got mine from the owner of RD audio, Steve Miller. I'm waiting to hear from him about your situation.. The holidays are keeping people busy.

Make a fake blower so you have the space, cut a hole in your hood, fabricate a half-assed bracket, and jam in 4 stock alts from the junk yard. And while you're at the high school using the welder and plasma cutter, mack on some young chicks.

Why would you want that much power for a daily driver anyways? That is just crazy and a waste of money IMO.
