Gold Member Username: Nd4spd18Philadelphia, PA Post Number: 9256 Registered: Jul-06 | First you need to build a box. It is recommend you drill a hole in it then to make it ported, which is louder. No you don't need an amp, just hook the subs up to your HU. But you should get at least a 5 farad capacitor and connect it to your HU since it will have to draw massive power for your subs. Finally you need to lubricate your subs motor before you install it. The easy way to do this is to stick your d!ck in the vent hole and splooge in it. That is how you get it in. |

Bronze Member Username: Armykyle1Ms Us Post Number: 28 Registered: Dec-08 | dont make fun of me but when i first got back from iraq i bought a jl 13.5 w3from a dealer. a rockford amp comps and 6x9s, no amp for the highs though. i was in a hurry to get to the coast and the only ppl who could get it done in time was BB. they broke the lights in my doors ('00 grand prix GTP) hooked the power wire up wrong. so i was pissed went back they ended up calling the cops on me cause i was hot temperd only being home for 4 days. then a week later i roll my passanger window down and ripped the wire out of the tweeter by thr mirror. not too after that my head unit pre outs burned up, went through 2 of them, then the sub started clipping. pretty crappy never again lol |
