OK so i installed a decent alpine 10 inch type s with an alpine amp and it worked flawlessly for 2 months, but recently i have been driving down the road and it just shuts off and it will come back on in a couple minutes. i checked the ground wire and its not that, its only when the car is in motion, every time i pull over and get out it starts playing. its starting to piss me off does anyone know whats wrong?

when it cuts off does the amp go into "protect" mode or does it completely loose power?

DMM= Digital Multimeter

I would check the ground again. make sure the paint is scraped and its secured down tight

protect mode is when the amp overheats or has a short circuit of some sort and shuts off to avoid blowing or ruining it, its a red light next to the power green light, check for that when your driving again

What amp do you have? What size power/ground wire do you have? What size fuse is in your inline fuse holder? Check all your fuses and make sure your connections are all clean.
