Polk DB1212 + Polk C500.1

I've found a combo (Polk db1212 & a Polk C500.1 amp) The sub is 360 watts RMS @ 2ohms and the amp is 500 watts RMS @ 2ohms. Would 500 watts be too much for the sub??
