Focal acess. I just bought a set for my brothers truck. They'd be a lot better than the mb quarts in my opinion,http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=3372

I have a Nissan Frontier and I have had the MB Quart Reference 6.5" comp. set before. I have always been a fan of Quart, but recently I switched to Boston Acoustics and I have been very impressed. Very clean, not harsh and great for the dollars.

Good luck!

boston acoustics is great, you cant go rong, but its a bit pricy, db drive or image dimension has the same or better quality and its cheaper

CDT ES series... exige on here can gat you good prices.

MB quarts are known to have overly harsh tweeters and lack midbass.

Nice HU btw.

lol so he is alive :-) good to see you around. i spoke a bit too soon

could you describe a bit more in depth what you're looking for from your components? any specific type of sound you enjoy? MB's typically are quite bright for example.

something with a descent soundstage and not overly bassy with crisp highs.. I do plan on adding a sub as well.. but figured i would start with the doors and build from there

when i was into car audio here was my set up..

boston accoostics 5 1/4 in the front (what ever there top of line was 10years ago)
xtant amp
1 JL10w0
2 phx gold eqs ( i forget the exact name of them)
