Ive decided that i am going to purchase 2 12" alpine type R's sometime soon(hopefully) and wanted to get your guys opinion on what type of enclosure to build. I would like them very responsive for fast double bass kicks, but also be able to get some decent loudness out of them for rap and similar music. Should I go sealed to keep the tightness and response, or will they still be good in a ported enclosure? Car is a 2001 cavalier in case that matters. Any help is appreciated.
