I Have a Kicker L7 (Dual 4 ohm 1500peak), A kicker 750zx Amp (1500peak). A aftermath head unit. A .5 farad cap. and a rather small vented box. My sub has broken 4x now. I keep getting new ones form my dealer. Everytime it stops working the voice coils are reading ohms at 16 ohms instead of 4 like it should be. I have put new and good wire through everything and i wire it properly everyttime. What could the problem be? can the box be to small? or can the cap. not big enough? what is causing this?
clipping them subs bad...... my neighbor did the same to her L5 10's with a pos amp she was clippn them things bad.. suprised the amp didnt crap out yet
