Now this H.U. was mailed U.S.P.S. on the same day as Steve Fed-Ex'ed my amp.. The next statments have nothing to do w/Steve as he cannot control Fed-Ex.lol
So can you imagine a day when a U.S. Government intenty is more effiecent than a private Corp. H.U. was shipped from Pa. to La. and the amp was shipped from Ga. to La.(much closer) on same day.. H.u arrived today(Monday) and amp is not scheduled to arrive until Wed.. U.S.P.S. FTW!
BTW. I should have this H.U. installed tonight or tomorrow at the latest.. Will give a review and update after I get fimilar with all the important functions..
Anyone know anything about Kendwoods Music Editor that comes with the Excelon Products.. As far as I can tell it is basically a music manager and usb transfer(sync) application.
Sean, are you using the eclipse's speaker outputs? or just RCA?
If you are just using rca's the check to see it that H.U. has an internal amp setting... If it does turn the amp off and it will increase the preout output and maybe it could fix the volume problem.. Just a thought.. The KW has that setting and I turned it off and the output difference was noticabable. Again, I am not using speaker outputs though..

well.. i used the kenwood music editor to sync my usb stick to the computer and put some music and the HU just kepy readin with no response... FTL I tried it in a differen H.U. and it read it just fine.. will try to do the drag and drop on it instead of seperate folders for every artist to see if it works...
of course Sean.. I will get it figured out.. I know it is not the HU.. I do like this KW.. The user interface is not as good as pioneer's imo but overall is it a decent HU...
