I'm looking at buying an alpine deck but the preouts are only 2 v will this matter? The other decks I was looking into had any were from 4v -8v preouts this is why I ask.
Like Corey Said if you have an external Amplifier, higher pre-volts would be nice so you can get better SQ, if not then your fine.
But if in the future if you do plan on putting in an external amplifier (if you dont already) then you would possibly need to buy a line driver if you dont have a deck with at least 4v preout IMO.
