Well to start out...

How much money are you willing to spend?

What car/suv/truck do you have?

Do you want SQ (sound quality) or SPL (loud loud loud)?

What kind of music do you listen to?

I have the same vehicle. You've got room for 2 15"s or 4 12"s just about.

I like where jake is going with the LMS subs and RD amps thats some of the best equipment you can get.

One HO alternator is enough though, along with a good battery.

Lucky for him he can run the 4 15" APs in a clamshell isobaric box to save space.

He'd still hit low 150s daily and have insane sq... Sounds like it would be worth it in the whip.

No offense, but I doubt your buddy has connections with Audiopulse, RD, or MCR alternators. Unless he owns shop or hustles on the street then I doubt he has any connections with any of the other stuff Jake listed.

audiopulse is not the end all audio company

they make very good drivers but they were suggested to you because you said you had no budget and they are some of the most expensive drivers in the market

Some good brands to look in to:

Audiopulse/TC Sounds
Digital Designs
Fi
Revolution Design
Audioque
Resonant Engineering

What is your total budget?

You can get a system will own anything in town most likely with 10k

I would still get the 2 LMS 15"

And 2 RD 5750 amps

And HO alt and batteries

With deals from exige audio (audiopules) and kevin holden (RD) I think thats about the best you can get.

If you wanna get real loud get as many 18" or 15" FI BTLs as your vehicle can hold. If your buddy thinks that dual beats hard he will literally sh!t himself if he hears just 1 btl.

I like my Blazer also. I don't want a new car even if I could afford it....

What else you have planned for it. Flowmaster exhaust and weld racing or american racing rims will get ya started. Then if its not all rusted out think about a body lift.....

Then if you really want to go for the gold, 350 swap and beef up the trans.

I would get 4 powermaster d3100s batteries. - $1600

I would buy 2 spools of this wire.
http://cgi.ebay.com/KICKER-PWB050-1-0-AWG-50-FT-HYPER-FLEX-POWER-CABLE-WIRE_W0QQ itemZ380078270707QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCar_Electronics_Installation?_trksid=p3286.m 20.l1116
That should be about 6 runs of it for you. - $350

I would then check out the companies that others suggest, or Mechman alternators (google them). I would get dual 200-250a alternators. (about $1000)

And a missinglinkaudio.com module for your truck (about 2-300).

That makes it a grand total of $3,1-3,200 on your electrical system.

I prefer companies you can talk to a person, so I would go with Fi or Ascendant Audio. Buying the BTL or Mayhem respectively.

I would get 2 18s or 4 15s, whichever you can cram in their best, totaling between 1k and 2000 for your subs (4800 remaining for budget).

Get a Hifonics Maxximus
http://www.12v-electronics.com/catalog/hifonics-channel-amplifier-xxvmaxximus-p- 7950.html?language=en $2700

or 4 kicker 2500s ($3600)
or 2 atomic 5ks
or 2 ab 5ks
and the list goes on and on and on.

Around $3000 for good bnib amps.

That leaves about 1800 left for a 4 channel amp, some speakers, and wood for a box- since sq isn't the highest priority here I'm not even getting into speakers.

Honestly though- if you wanted to have some cash left over or have someone else install things, buy colby's Memphis 4k and my Memphis 4k- Much cheaper and hella nice amps/power.

Now buy stuff and post pics- prove these haters wrong :-)

since you got so much cash you should just pay circuit city to install it they do great work, like hook up your subs in reverse polarity for extra excursion and a SQ isobaric pressure system. they also make it so that you subs will hit with you close your doors and trunk.
