I just got an Orion 2500d this week all i can say is this is an amazing amp, had it hooked up to 1 12" RF Power HX2, with the gain at quarter approx. and blew it after about 10 minutes of playing, it hit hard for those 10 minutes tho, so long story short i have a orion 2500d, and an empty 4 cube box (not excactly sure on size) Ported box for a single 12, What are some good choices for me?

So are you using that same box? Does it have to be a 12"?

That RF Power HX2 12" shouldn't have blown.

why do you say it shouldnt have blown...im not 100% sure it blew, but i was playing it pretty loud, then i changed the song, and turned it back up and there was no bass, turned the car off and back on, amp fired up, no bass, smokey coming out of the ports, (not alot) pushed on cone, and was no signs of it being blown like the voice coil scratching, so i have no idea lol, its hanging up in my buddys garage right now, is there anyway to test it? and anything else besides the btl?

i like the dd. others will pick the btl its all about user prefrence. the dd will be better in higher frq while the btl will be better in lower freq. So if you like the lows go with the btl but either is a great choice
