What do you guys think? Should i put a viewing window in my speaker box or not? I was going to put some blue leds in the box so that the ports glow blue but i am not sure about the window though

If you put a window for the light to show be sure and paint the inside of the box white. The color will jump out at you. It helps a ton.

I am running a SPR-17S for my fronts (i dont have my rear speakers hooked up) hooked up to a pdx 4.100. I have a pdx 1.1000 i am going to be using for my subs. I cant tell you what subs i am running as it is my secret project.

Thanks for the advice Paul.

the only way I would do that is if the rest of your car is fixed up... Nothing worse than doing something like that with an 92 civic on stock rims with half the interior panels missing...

If your car is "fixed up" it probably would look sweet

I built a box for the AQ subs that had a viewing window and some blue leds it looked really cool but i didnt have the electrical system to run them so i sold them and went a different way.

Naa it isn't that bad but I lost a truck with about $8000 of product 2 weeks ago by the intersection of 10th/Marquette. Unfortunately I get to go into the home around the east side that are just messed up. A lotof poor people in Racine/Kenosha area. I laugh at some of the people in the projects in Milwaukee that think they are straight HOOD, they never seen Cabrini Green lOl. BTW snow, I am in your area also, tell that old b!tch at the Mcdonalds at the intersection of 108th/National her retarded @ss owes me some cheese for my sausage biscuit lmfao.. Polo. :-O

BTW- Racine and Kenosha has some of the cheapest lake front property in the world, fact...

"I like the glow look"

To tell you the truth I rarely turn the lights on my sub. My kids get a kick out of it but it's strictly a cosmetic/bling thing. Wasn't expensive or time consuming to do. It was just a "why not" kinda thing.

Im not too good at wiring stuff like that. How do you wire in like a neon tube or some leds to turn on with your amp? Wire them through the remote line?

Relays get from any auto parts store. Just make sure you buy the right size.

As for the LEDs themself, go to http://www.oznium.com/
If you are looking for a strip to put in your box
http://www.oznium.com/flexible-led-strips

Best LEDs, shipping, customer service. Will never buy LEDs from anywhere else.

You can buy relays from there too Kevin if you dont feel like leaving the computer
