I listen to wide range of music, but nothing heavy. I am looking for a hearty sound. I will also include subs. I have narrowed to: JL Audio VR650-CSi 6-1/2" 2-Way Component Speakers System & Kicker 05RS562 5-1/4" 4-Ohms Component Speaker System
I am not sure about the reputation/performance of these speakers/manufacturers. Nor do I know if these will satisfy my needs...????? nowhere to audition. I am open to suggestion----
focal is known for being a bright speaker. meaning that the speaker lacks low end and the tweeters can be quite harsh for some ears.
the best thing to do is go to a local shop and test out some of the speakers there. write down the ones that sound the best TO YOUR EARS. then come back and tell us which models you like and didnt like. that will help us narrow down what sound you really want. also a budget would be very helpful.
