anybody still uses these ?

i know long ago b4 mp3s were popular some cars used to come with these usually holding 5 or 6 cds but nowadays these new units can even play mp3s too

y im asking is i do enjoy d quality of originals & id like to have access to some mp3s too instead of using usb decks or opening\closing a deck face & changing a cd often

They are obsolete now..... been a long time since i've seen one in use.....


With flash memory getting as cheap as it is USB HUs are gonna be the next big thing. Just convert all your CDs to a lossless format and put them on your portable player or flash drive.

yes but some mp3s really sux in quality so thats y im wanting both options ...

Thats why I said a lossless format.... we just need more HUs to support those formats.

320kbps (and even 256) MP3's are indistinguishable from a store bought cd in a car audio application. I have trying to tell people this since I joined here. You would need a reference pair of headphones and/or a very high quality home audio system to decipher the difference. And even then it is not that easy.
