does it really matter? just buy more than you think youll need and youll use the rest somewhere else

double layer it in some areas .. its not very thick :-)

Hopefully it works out well for you. Going the cheap route sometimes end up costing you more, I've learned that the hard way haha.

In addition to what Kevin said, it is a good idea to use a heatgun because peel and seal will eventually fall off if you don't.

a hairdryer works well btw. if you don't have a heatgun

thats what i used ..

if you roll it well and have a clean surface you may not need to heat it.. depends on how curved it it

In my experience, Peel and Seal does NOT stick very well lol. I did use alcohol pads and a heat gun as well... I would try using it on the doors and whatnot, but I wouldn't mount it on anything upside down such as the trunk lid.

Yeah, Peel and Seal sticks very easily. I didn't even use a heat gun for mine, and its still stuck just fine.

i used a hair dryer a little bit when certain peices didnt want to stick much

i thought the hair dryer was useful at times but not 100% needed

i didnt get great results using the roller because my trunk has a lot of grooves and my hands seemed to work best

the roller did come in handy in flat tight spots though

im not really sure if its asphalt based - it has a funny smell to it but nothing big

after i put my spare tire and all of my carpeting back in i couldnt smell it at all

Now tell us the results lol.

Did it help any? Worth the money and time you put into it? Scale of 1-10 on how happy you are with the product?

Full reviews ftw.

the grooves are a pain but you still need to roll it on there .. getting all the air out and getting it to adhere to every surface area is the key to it absorbing the energy

my trunk was a huge pita.. took at least half a day

i did roll a lot of places but it was flat out pointless in some places

if i had any air pockets i would slice the air pocket with a razor and roll it out

i will get a review together soon - but i do not have anything in the car at the moment

today i plan to put in my mechman alt and put in a couple runs of 1/0
